I've been going to Byres Road Garage for over 9 years now, and even though it's over an hour’s drive for me, I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. Marie, the wonderful owner, and her team are simply the best in the business. I’ve tried a few garages over the years, and nothing comes close to the level of care, clarity, and trust you get here.

I've been coming here for a few years with my previous car and always had great service, the staff are lovely, explain any issues well and in my experience get the work done quickly. I recently got a new car and took it in for a few small problems I'd noticed, they fixed all of those quickly and,
unprompted, did a very thorough check of the car uncovering a few more issues which I can get fixed soon and gives me peace of mind knowing the exact condition of the car. Really impressed that they took the time to be so thorough when I'd only given them a small list of things, excellent service as always

I have used Byres Road Garage a number of times for MOTs, servicing, and problems, for both my car and my partners. Every single time, Marie and the team there have been able to accommodate me, and get the car back on the road same day. An incredibly reliable garage that offers sensible and realistic solutions that are clearly based on plenty of experience. Pricing is always straight forward and some smaller fixes have even been done without charge. A well deserved reputation, trustworthy team, and always a quick turnaround.

Thoroughly recommend BRG, having taken multiple cars here over the years for MOT’s, services and repairs. The team are rigorous in their tests and repairs have always been done to the highest standard of work, unlike any other garage I’ve used in the past. Every member of staff that I’ve encountered have always been friendly, honest and they are great at explaining the problem/ showing parts that are of issue, advising on wether or not it needs done immediately, especially Marie and Jacqueline. I’ve now had my car through a service in August 2024 and an MOT and service in November 2024 at Byres Road Garage. The car is old with 100k mileage but the garage did an amazing job and have been so helpful. The entire time they have been honest and incredibly efficient, with almost every done on the same day and frequent updates via phone and text. They’ve also made sure I’ve not had things done that didn’t need done and spent a huge amount of time talking me through the different elements of the service and mot. There were several opportunities where they could have recommended that the garage do more but they put honesty and compassion above making money and I hugely appreciate this.

I have used this garage for years. The service and quality of work is outstanding. I recently had an issue that needed urgent attention and they went above and beyond to help get me back on the road. Absolutely incredible! I would highly recommend them.
